My Shower of Roses!

God always know what he is doing.. so it be... I found him! We spoke on the phone and wrote emails (long ones, short ones.. all the time) for about 3 months before we finally met at St.Patrick in NYC..

Than the day came.. actually almost not really putting much thought into it.. a busy day, teaching, studying, and working my second job and I come home, Nov. 22 2000, and I found at my doorsteps...
But you know.. not just 12 Roses... 24 ROSES sent from my one and only true love!! He was just sending them for my saint Day but had no clue of my novena..
To this day, I have a special place in my heart for St. Theresa...
Govern by all Thy Wisdom, O Lord,
so that my soul may always be serving Thee as Thou dost
Will,
and not as I may choose.
Do not punish me, I beseech Thee,
by granting that which I wish
or ask if it offended Thy Love,
which would always live in me.
Let me die to myself,
so that I may love Thee.
Let me live to Thee,
Who art in Thyself,
the True Life.
Dear St. Therese,
guide me in your Little Way,
so that I may ascend to the heights and happiness of
Heaven.

I am crying! How beautiful, she IS such a lovable saint and when she arranges the roses it is like having the carpet pulled from under you. Such awe...
God bless you AND the love of your life!
You know, I had something similar happen... I prayed a novena to St. Therese asking for a sign if my husband was the person I was meant to marry, and on the last day of my novena I opened my apartment door to find a single red rose on my doorstep -- the first flower he had ever given me and he too had no idea of my novena! =)
