Your duty is to sanctify yourself. Yes, even you. Who thinks that this task is only for priests and religious? To everyone, without exception, our Lord said: Be ye perfect, as my heavenly Father is perfect. St. Josemaria

“Ooh! I don’t want to see more nuns!"

Read this inspiring article on a young actress who left it all behind, Hollywood, to being God's leading actress.

"Amidst the serene Latin chants of the Divine Office from Matins to Compline, an unsuspecting visitor to the rustic environs of the 400 acre Abbey of Regina Laudis (Queen of Praise) in Bethlehem, Connecticut would have never guessed that among these select daughters of St. Benedict is one Dolores Hart, a former film and stage actress who once basked in the glitter and glamour of the Hollywood limelight of the late 50’s and early 60’s."

Blessed is the King...

And as he rode [into Jerusalem), they spread their garments on the road. As he was now drawing near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying,

"Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" (Luke 19:36-38, RSV)

Palm Sunday is a beautiful day , I have wonderful mermoires with my family on this great day and we will spend it going to a concert with some dear friends..

May You find the Peace of Heaven on Earth in your soul and your heart..

The Feast of the Annunciation

"Ecce ancilla Domini; fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum"
“The scene of the Annunciation is a very lovely one. How often we have meditated on this. Mary is recollected in prayer. She is using all her senses and her faculties to speak to God. It is in prayer that she comes to know the divine Will. And with prayer she makes it the life of her life. Do not forget the example of the Virgin Mary.”
Saint Josemaría in Furrow.

O God
Who didst please that at the message of an Angel
Thy Word should take flesh in the womb
of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
grant unto Thy suppliants,
that we who believe her to be
truly the mother of God
may be aided by her intercession before Thee
Through the same Christ our Lord.

May He Rest in Peace!

'Well done, my good and faithful servant. . . Come, share your master's joy.' Matthew 25

If we want good marriages, healthy, happy families, and a mature and loving sexuality, then we must know God's moral truths and choose to live them. When we stand before the judgment seat of God, from which no one is excused, He will judge us worthy to enter His Kingdom only if we accepted and conformed to His moral truths: "If you love Me keep My Commandments." --
Fr.Paul Marx: The Warehouse Priest, page 296.

The Baby

Happy Feast Day; St.Joseph..

An Ancient Prayer to Saint Joseph

O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, assist me by thy powerful intercession and obtain for me all spiritual blessings through thy foster Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer thee my thanksgiving and homage.

O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee and Jesus asleep in thine arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me.

Monday, March 15, 2010 Lent

Well.. we are what? Fourth week of lent and I have fallen off the wagon for sure on a few things..((only I have 15mins. to write this before I have to log off so bare with me)

But again I am surprise as of how God has chosen a Lent for me... It was before Lent that I lost our baby girl and its during Lent that It has been hard .. I guess any time of the year is hard.. But this time its very hard. Yesterday , I was asked twice (no fault of them, since they didn't know I lost the baby ) how is the pregnancy going and do I know if its a boy or girl..They felt really bad about it after I told them, that we lost our baby but it still hurt me not b/c of them but b/c facts are facts and truth is We lost the baby. I look at my four beauties at home and some how I miss our Marta even thu I never saw her face but in a way I have.. I see her in the other girls, I wonder all the time would she have dark hair like babymums.. or Blondie hair like Blondie? Will she have been a 8lbs or 9lbs? when was her due date really have been? who would of been her godparents? Oh.. it just goes on and on.. But than I stop myself, actually my Guardian angel stops me and I think.. I now have 2 not just one but 2 angels in Heaven already in the arms of Our Lord!

Thats my goal.. getting them in Heaven.. I wonder thu if this is it..and I would really like not to be but at times, I feel that God is going to think other wise and that I have to love what I have.. I am mean really love them and help them grow to be what God has call them for.

Oh.. How many have die as I'm writing this? How many have push their little hands out of the way of knife , kicking and screaming for their lives and no one hears them in the womb?

May God have mercy on Our World and Soul..

Hail Mary Saves Boy from Hell..

A True Story given by America Needs Fatima

In the year 1604, in a city in Belgium, there were two young students who gave themselves up to a life of debauchery instead of following their studies.

One night they were at the house of an evil woman; but one of the two, who was named Richard, stayed only a short time and then returned home. While he was preparing to retire, he remembered that he had not yet said the few Hail Marys that were his daily practice.

He was very tired and half inclined to omit them; nevertheless, he forced himself through the routine, saying the words half asleep and with no particular devotion. Then he lay down and fell asleep.

Suddenly he was wakened by a violent knocking at the door. The door was closed, but the figure of a young man, hideously deformed, passed through it and stood before him.

"Who are you?" Richard cried. "You do not know me?" asked the other. "Ah yes, now I do," said Richard; "but how changed, with all the appearance of a devil!"

"Alas, unhappy creature that I am," said his companion, "I am damned! When I was leaving that house of sin, a devil came and strangled me. My body lies in the street; my soul is in Hell.

"And know this — the same fate awaited you, except that the Blessed Virgin spared you for that little act of homage of the Hail Marys. If you are not a fool, profit by this warning which the Mother of God has sent." He then opened his mantle, showing the flames and serpents by which he was tormented, and disappeared.

Breaking into a flood of sobs and tears, Richard went down on his knees to give thanks to Mary his protectress. Then as he pondered how to change his life he heard the bell of the Franciscan monastery ringing for matins. "It is there," he said, "that God calls me to do penance."

He went immediately to the monastery and begged the Fathers to admit him. Since they knew his wicked life, they were hardly willing to do so. But sobbing bitterly, he told them all that had happened. And when two Fathers had been sent to the street and had found the strangled body, which was charred and blackened, they admitted him.

From that time on he led an exemplary life and at length went to preach the Gospel in India, and thence to Japan. There he had the happiness of giving his life for Jesus Christ, being burnt alive for the faith at Nagasaki on September 10, 1622.

Food for Thought Friday

"We can very well say that the Passion which the Jews made Christ suffer was almost nothing compared with what Christians make him undergo with their insults of mortal sins.. what horror there will be when Jesus Christ shows us the things for which we have abandoned him!"
