St.Valentine's Love Fest...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13
We started a new tradition in our home today. St. Valentine's before hand was something, I guess we shared it among my husband and I besides the candy hearts and cards to the children. I wanted to do something to really show them what St. Valentine's is all about: Love and what better why to celebrate this Love than as a family. We have to fight back to bring these sweet days such as St. Valentine's , St. Patrick, St. Nicholas , Easter , and Christmas, back to their true meaning and its roots: Our Most Beautiful Church!

We started off by making heart sandwiches for Our Social gathering at church.

After Church, my husband took our oldest daughter to their first Daddy and Daughter Dance put together by our home school co-op. (Boy would I love to be a fly on the wall and see it all).
So while they were away dancing, we were at home getting ready for our Love Fest.
We set the table with our finest and a small token of our love for the children.
Dancing with their Daddy! We had Frank Baby to help us in the mood with his famous,
" My Funny Valentine" (the kids love Frank)

Someone got a hold of her "after" dinner treat before dinner.

The kids played with their new puzzles,

Friendship necklace making,

Magnetic dinosaurs while we share a drink or two!

Some more dancing....
I just love how my little guy loves to dance with his sisters!

He is going to be a good dancer after all of this practice.

Finally, we all sat down with our Sunday's Best for dinner.

Can't forget dessert: Strawberry pie with whipped cream
and

Some Heart chocolate to end the night!

The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family. ~Thomas Jefferson
