Your duty is to sanctify yourself. Yes, even you. Who thinks that this task is only for priests and religious? To everyone, without exception, our Lord said: Be ye perfect, as my heavenly Father is perfect. St. Josemaria

My Lent

We are just almost finishing up our 1st week of lent. I have to say , doing good, staying strong and focus. My personal plans of lent , really is just to simplify my life in all areas, Faith, Home, and Life. I have taken some actions towards this way of life that has been a big improvement already.

Since I have limited my access to my online time, I have seen that I do have more time and get more done. Laundry is wash and put away everyday, kitchen is clean and dinner done by 6pm (we eat late here), our daily chores are complete by morning and school is over by afternoon. We also have been decluttering our things and what a sense of freedom in that!

Since I have add more to my spiritual life such as great books, The Devout Life, Bible, Conversations with God, and few more practice, I have felt more peace in my life and I sense God more present in my day.

Until we meet again, I pray that you have a Blessed Lent!

Good for you Cecilia! I've taken a partial blogging break as well during Lent. There is much more time to get things done that way!

If you're interested, Jennifer from Crafolic is offering a giveaway on my blog of her new game called Journey's End. It's to teach children about sin, grace and confession. If you're interested you should come by and comment.
