Your duty is to sanctify yourself. Yes, even you. Who thinks that this task is only for priests and religious? To everyone, without exception, our Lord said: Be ye perfect, as my heavenly Father is perfect. St. Josemaria

Here are some other great quotes....

"Jesus, help me to simplify my life by learning what you want me to be - and becoming that person."

Time is but a shadow, a dream; already God sees us in glory and takes joy in our eternal beatitude. How this thought helps my soul! I understand then why He lets us suffer... - VIII Letter to Her Sister Celine

Yes, even if I have on my conscience every possible crime, I should lose none of my confidence; my heart breaking with sorrow, I should go and throw myself into the arms of my Savior. ~St Therese

"Our Lord needs from us neither great deeds nor profound thoughts. Neither intelligence nor talents. He chrishes simplicity. Jesus, help me to simplify my life by learning what you want me to be - and becoming that person."

To Call God my Father and to Know myself His Child, that is Heaven to me ... St. Therese

Please Pray for the Departing Soul of Sara..

My Husband's grandmother passed away today.. She was 92 years old. She was such a lovely lady always filled with so much life and love for her family. The last time I saw her was 3 years ago in Mexico. Thank God that my husband was able to leave at the last minute to Mexico and spend time with Her before she left earth. On the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrow, how more can one relate to it than a death of a loved one.. For Our Lady's Sorrow of losing her son is so great that we can all relate when we have lost a loved one.. But When we go back to and think that Our Lord rose from the Dead.. He lived again.. That gives us the comfort to see that Our Loved ones will rise again at the end of the World by the Mercy of God!

What is also sad is that my husband's mother celebrates her birthday today. How does one celebrate a birthday with the death of your own mother, with God's love and grace we can celebrate life... Life after Death...

Please Pray for Marc Berquist

"Marc Berquist has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Although reports are still somewhat preliminary, his doctors are hopeful that he will be able to make a recovery. He is quite sick right now, however, and very much in need of our prayers.

Mr. Berquist is a founding member of the faculty of Thomas Aquinas College and one of the principal authors of A Proposal for the Fulfillment of Catholic Liberal Education, the College’s founding and governing document. He has been a tutor and governor of the College for over 40 years. He has on numerous occasions made great sacrifices to help promote the well-being of the community and to keep it committed to its mission of educating under the guidance of St. Thomas Aquinas and Aristotle. Please remember to pray for his health and well-being and for his family during this difficult time."

Laura Berquist is the founder of Mother Divine Grace
